Our Story *

Canary Junction lampshades are hand-made to order, with meticulous detail in our wee workshop in Seddon, Melbourne, We are dedicated to producing a range of lampshades of different textures, designs (including our own screen prints), that are made from predominantly cottons and linens, are unique and limited in range.

We purchase most of our linen fabrics in Australia and our printed fabric from the UK and USA. We continually research the latest designs, colours and availability globally to ensure we keep on trend and keep the range fresh and exciting. We are committed to offering our customers affordable, stylish products that constantly change.

Each design range is limited but please contact us if you see a lampshade you love but find that there is not enough to fulfill your order or it is out of stock – we are happy to make more of the popular designs (subject to fabric availability) and also to make shades from your own fabric! We are passionate about styling, colours, textures and love bringing your vision to life.

We aspire to be environmentally aware and use only eco-friendly printing inks, recycled boxes and biodegradable pellets.

We’re also passionate about prompt, professional customer service and would love to hear from you if you would like to offer some feedback and one last thing.............

Where did the name Canary Junction come from! A good friend of mine returned to the UK after spending 10 years in Australia (and many a night realizing our creative dreams!). She now works at Canary Wharf in London and we had an emotional reunion at Watford Junction........and the name was born!
